World Network Systems was founded in 2001 by network engineer Lance Johnson after repeatedly seeing the same problems in the IT industry: technology providers who wouldn't take ownership, technicians who could identify a problem but couldn't recommend what to do next, and customers who were passed between vendors when something fell outside someone's narrow scope of work.
WNS was built around a different idea: treat the client with respect, understand the technology deeply, and take responsibility for getting the problem solved. More than two decades later, that philosophy still guides how we work.
Our team includes:
That allows WNS to support both the technology your employees see and the infrastructure behind it.
Day-to-day user support, workstations, printers, applications, and troubleshooting.
Firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VLANs, bandwidth planning, and troubleshooting.
Administration, licensing, security, email, SharePoint, and cloud services.
Endpoint protection, email security, DNS protection, vulnerability management, and security improvements.
CAT6, fiber, MDF/IDF design, racks, patch panels, and new-office infrastructure.
Office openings, hotel projects, workstation deployments, network replacements, and technology transitions.
You shouldn't need one company for the cabling, another for the network, and another to support the people using it.
Our mission is to reduce the stress associated with the uncertainties of technology by delivering solutions of the highest quality while showing our clients appreciation and respect. We are committed to doing what is right by our clients, prioritizing transparency and always providing them with the best options as we strive for excellence in every service and interaction.
“Good enough is never enough.”
Remote support is efficient and allows us to resolve many issues quickly. But not every IT problem should be solved from hundreds of miles away. WNS can provide scheduled on-site technicians for organizations that need regular physical IT support — from recurring visits to multiple days per week. Your technician becomes familiar with your people, your equipment, and your environment.
During scheduled visits, they can:
Remote support and monitoring continue between visits, with after-hours emergency support available when needed. The result is the efficiency of remote IT support without giving up access to someone who can actually be there.
WNS supports organizations operating across multiple cities and states. Instead of each location having a different IT company, different standards, and different support process, WNS can provide:
This model is particularly valuable for hotels, nonprofits, schools, and growing businesses with distributed operations. One organization shouldn't need five different IT companies just because it has five locations.
Hotels depend on technology around the clock, and many of their systems have to work together. WNS supports hospitality environments involving:
We also work with hotel ownership and management groups on property transitions, renovations, network upgrades, openings, and technology projects.
When an issue involves several vendors, our role isn't simply to say, “That's not our system.” Our job is to help determine what is actually wrong and coordinate the people needed to resolve it.
Some of our most important work starts during construction. We help organizations plan the technology infrastructure for new offices, hotels, and facilities, including:
Then, after the location opens, we can continue supporting the environment we helped build.
The goal isn't to finish an installation. The goal is to create technology you can operate and support for years afterward.
There are plenty of IT companies willing to send an email containing three products and ask, “Which one would you like?” We believe that's backwards. Our clients hire us because they want technical guidance. We'll explain the options when there are meaningful choices, but we're also willing to tell you what we recommend and why. Then we stand behind that recommendation.
Our passion for network technology drives us to continually research, evaluate, and collaborate with top providers across the industry. Every solution we deliver — from full network builds to PC deployments — is engineered for consistency, stability, and exceptional satisfaction for both guests and end users.
If something isn't necessary, we'll tell you. If we made a mistake, we'll tell you that too. Long-term relationships are more valuable to us than maximizing one invoice.
We don't want clients spending their time figuring out which vendor is responsible. When multiple technologies or vendors are involved, we help drive the issue toward resolution.
Technology changes constantly. We continually evaluate our tools, security standards, processes, and recommended solutions so our clients don't have to.
IT problems are frustrating enough. Clients deserve technicians who communicate clearly, respect their time, and treat employees professionally regardless of their technical knowledge.
Lance founded World Network Systems in 2001 and continues to be directly involved in network design, technology strategy, and client solutions.
Daniel works on advanced networking, infrastructure, troubleshooting, and technical projects.
Shannon supports network environments, systems, and ongoing client operations.
Carlos focuses on hospitality technology and the day-to-day IT requirements of hotel environments.
Every client also has access to the broader WNS team. A technician on-site can escalate directly to a network engineer, project manager, or other specialist instead of leaving the client to find another vendor.

Technology has changed dramatically since WNS started in 2001. The reason we've continued to grow isn't because we've been doing the same thing for more than two decades. It's because we've continued changing with our clients.
We've helped organizations open new locations, replace aging networks, migrate to cloud services, improve security, and support employees across multiple states. And many of those relationships have lasted for years.
That's the kind of IT partnership we're trying to build.
Whether you need ongoing managed IT support, scheduled on-site technicians, a new network, or someone to help plan your next location, we'd like to understand what you're trying to accomplish. Tell us the problem — we'll help you figure out what should happen next.
